The well-stocked shelves of Animate are located in a very complete building in Akihabara. Very particular enthusiasts gather on each floor.
The second floor is for shonen readers - Manga for boys - while on the third floor young cosplay girls read Shôjô - manga for girls.
The following levels include, mangas for a more informed public, traditional cards and figurines, plus an entire level devoted to OST (Original Soundtrack), theme music and anime music. The ninth floor welcomes events organized by the management.
The Animate chain has more than seventy stores across the archipelago, the kebukuro store is the biggest but that of Akihabara is the reference despite numerous neighboring rival brands, as in Tokyo, there is a raging battle to be the temple of manga!
