The 2024 Ghibli Park and Ghibli Exhibition in Tokyo

Few production companies are held to as high regard as Studio Ghibli (pronounced “ji-bu-ri” in the original Japanese). Founded in 1985 by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata along with film producer Toshio Suzuki, a medley of classic, well-beloved animated films have been released over the years, such as My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moing Castle, Porko Rosso, and more!

Located at the Tokyo Terada Warehouse out by Tokyo Bay, the exhibit gives Tokyoites a taste of the full park in Aichi as well as displaying interesting behind-the-scenes exhibits and artifacts curated by Goro Miyazaki himself. Visitors to the exhibit will be treated to a life-size reproduction of the iconic and whimsical “Cat Bus” from My Neighbor Totoro with Totoro himself standing beside. The office of Yubaba from Spirited Away has been replicated with meticulous detail, as well as the iconic scene of No Face sitting on the train.

Continuing exploring to see concept artwork and other items that provide an in-depth look into all things Ghibli! Throughout the exhibit, picture opportunities can be found everywhere, ensuring your time diving right into the world of Studio Ghibli is well documented. And of course, collectible merchandise is available for purchase, including stationery, clothing, art books, and more!
